Dr. Phil Cardoso

Phil Cardoso is an associate professor of Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where he is conducting research and providing outreach programs in the area of dairy nutrition and reproduction.  His experience with dairy farms in Brazil and the USA brings a different perspective and management skills that help him with discussions in class.

Dr. Derek Nolan

Derek T. Nolan is a Teaching Assistant Professor and Dairy Extension Specialist in the Department of Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois. His area of specialty is in milk quality and decision economics. He has been part of the Southeast Quality Milk Initiative and has worked with dairy farmers to troubleshoot milk quality and mammary gland health issues.
